Visiting Teaching
We have changed some of the routes for Visiting Teaching with much prayer and support of the Bishop. We appreciate your efforts to reach the sisters on your routes and hope you will enjoy your new routes as well. I know that Visiting Teaching is the heart and soul of Relief Society.
Christmas time is an easy time to give charity and thought to those you visit teach. Please remember them and try to reach out to each sister.
I truly believe that our Relief Society is true -- Charity Never Faileth. We will never go wrong in being a little too kind.“Every member has made a covenant to do works of kindness as the Savior would do. So any call to bear witness and to care for others is not a request for extra service; it is a blessing designed by a loving Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. They have provided such calls as well as other settings, sometimes without a formal call, all for the same purpose. Each is a chance to prove what blessings flow from being a covenant people, and each is an opportunity for which you agreed to be accountable” (Henry B. Eyring, Ensign, Nov. 1996, 31).
