Closer to Christ

If with all your hearts ye truly seek me,

Ye shall ever surely find me.

It is our desire to follow the counsel of our leaders in helping all of us to come closer to Christ. We have been instructed to “get back to basics” by increasing our food storage, getting out of debt, going to the temple and doing our Visiting Teaching. Most of all, however, we have been advised that in these scary and troubling times it is most important to strengthen our testimonies and find our personal relationship with Christ. It is my goal to weekly post scriptures and stories that will help us build our testimonies of the Savior.

“Come and See”

Read the account of the fishermen in Mark 1:16-18 and in John 1:38-39.

Determine what fills your nets. Are everyday challenges such as time constraints, demands from work or home, or feelings of inadequacy or fear holding you back from developing a relationship with Christ?

Today try to listen for the quiet invitations from the Lord to Come and See.
